Tasks & activities

• Development of the PERI 3D printing activities in the US utilizing the COBOD 3D printing technology in close collaboration with the 3D printing department PERI Germany.
• Analysis of the US market for 3D construction printing (identification of appropriate segments, Go-To-Market Approach etc.)
• Acquisition of customers
• Lead pilot projects in regard to 3D construction printing
• On-site management and operation of 3D construction printing projects
• Analysis of the economic benefits of 3D concrete printing compared to the prevalent construction methods in the US.
• Set-up of processes for 3D printing (sales, rental, printing as a service, logistics, trainings, maintenance etc.)
• Identification of strategic partners (architects, planners, regulatory offices, material suppliers) and forming relationships with them.

Competencies

Education:

• Higher education (technical disciplines in relation to construction, e.g. civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture or similar)

Application Engineer Construction Printing

Location

• PERI US Houston

Tasks & activities

• Technical execution and support of 3D concrete printing projects
• Implementation of 3D concrete printing on construction sites – starting at planning, over set-up and operation, to maintenance
• Operation of the BOD2 – one of the largest state-of-the-art 3D concrete printers in the world
• Support the set-up of a new department for 3D construction printing at PERI USA.
• Development of printable design together with partners and customers.
• Integration of 3D concrete printing in the whole construction process.
• Adaptation, maintenance and repair of the BOD2
• Training of customers in regard to operating the BOD2 concrete printer.

Competencies

Education:

• Higher education (technical disciplines in relation to construction, e.g. civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture or similar or in relation to mechanical or electrical engineering)

Experience:

• Hands-on experience in construction, mechanical or electrical engineering
• 3D printing experience
