Impressions from the project process
PERI Teamed up with McCarthy and the St. Louis Community to support building a home for a police officer tragically injured in the line of duty.
PERI donated the formwork, McCarthy donated the labor and concrete used to build a home for Officer Crosby, who was tragically injured, leaving him paralized from the waist down, after responding to a domestic violence call. (Photo: crosbycrew.org)
PERI donated DUO handset formwork for this cause, it made quick work of the foundation walls for the home. It is light and easy to move by hand.

The main advantages of DUO are the lightweight, the strength, the rate of pour they will withstand, the engineering - you can use the outside corners for inside corners and vice versa - it's a very easy system to work with. You can stack the panels on top of each other and then stand them up. With [a competitor] panel, it would be a lot more work to do that, probably be a lot more dangerous and a lot more fatigue.
