Infrastructure

Where smart engineering meets digital expertise

For over 30 years, we’ve been involved in delivering some of the UK’s most complex roads, tunnels and bridges. By using modern technology alongside our trusted temporary works systems, we help you deliver infrastructure that is built to last.

Infrastructure Projects

The project-specific solution for realising the inner lining was based on a moveable supporting structure consisting of system components taken from the VARIOKIT Engineering Construction Kit.
The Des Plaines tunnel will connect directly to the McCook Reservoir and is built to allow stormwater to drain from the city of Chicago
State Route 99 Tunnel, United States of America
Two 175 m high piers at a distance of 472 m from each other, take the loads of this cable stay construction which connects both sides of the Cooper River.
The Gerald Desmond Bridge, built in 1968, has been an ongoing concern due to a low vertical clearance for large cargo containers as well as being in a highly active seismic zone.
I-65 North Split Project
Perspective under the bridge to be widened with additional hammerhead caps adjacent to the existing bridge.
The new Kosciuszko Bridge is a key element of the Brooklyn Queens Expressway
The Ironton Russel Bridge replacement marks the highest span in Ohio
The client cycled 16 units of VST shoring towers to support the 31 caps.
Connect 4 is a project consisting of highway bridges and overpasses for the I-635/SH 121 Interchange
The crew is building the shoring tower on top of the trusses supported by MULTIPROPS, thus allowing the crews and equipment to pass through underneath.
The East End Crossing is part of the Louisville-Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges Project, an 8.5-mile roadway that will increase cross-river mobility and alleviate traffic congestion in the area.
A crane was used to lift the VST Heavy-duty shoring tower.
 Fairfield County, SC
The expansive wave-shaped skylight being erected over what was formerly the mail sorting room of New York’s historic James A. Farley Post Office is perhaps the single most eye-catching feature of this $1.6 billion renovation.
Brightline Rail
Capitol Hill Station, Seattle, USA - The VARIOKIT formwork carriage and HD 200 heavy-duty props were used for the construction of the new subway station in Seattle.
More than 29 different beam configurations in a 210,000 sq. ft. quick turnaround area with limited access area required a highly flexible solution.
GARAGEDECK Beam
lax apm
PERI supplied the concrete forms for the construction of several TEXRail stations in Dallas, Texas
Blue Lake Dam Expansion in Sitka, Alaska
Marine Oil Terminal 3
The 50-year-old dam was deemed structurally deficient by the Department of Environmental Protection, resulting in draining the lake and relocating the fish to conduct the repairs.
RCSI was commissioned to upgrade the existing Fall Creek Reservoir fish facility to comply with current environmental criteria and build a fish lab to transport native salmon and endangered species.
Crews pouring 21 foot tall concrete wall using TRIO 330 panels, resulting in a neat tie pattern and clean concrete finish
Each tank has an inside diameter of 55‘, with 18“ thick walls that are 34‘ tall.
A complex pour with irregular corners, a slope transition, and a wall batter was realized with TRIO.
MULTIPROP shoring towers were stacked 42’ high to support the slab formwork for the digester tank
PERI UP Shoring Towers make quick work of the concrete slab at Walcrest Water Reclamation Facility, Dallas, TX
Smithland Hydroelectric Power Plant - The Smithland hydroelectric power plant is equipped with 3 turbines; due to the extremely tight construction schedule, all three tubes with their constantly changing cross-sections are being realized at the same time.
VARIOKIT is a construction kit primarily comprised of rentable 5” and 8” double C-channel steel members and adjustable spindles for various formwork applications
The PERI integrated scaffold program increases safety, predictability and efficiency on large industrial sites by providing planning and monitoring software as well as one of the safest and most efficient scaffolding products on the market
LNG liquid gas reservoirs, Cameron, USA - In the US state of Louisiana, three enormous liquid gas tanks were simultaneously realized using PERI know-how. Each of the structures has an 80 m diameter and a wall height of 44 m.
Swiss Krono is one of the world’s largest producers of engineered wood products, especially laminate flooring. The subcontractor supplying the scaffolding for the US expansion selected the PERI UP Rosett Flex modular scaffolding system for the project, in part due to its optimal adaptability, high level of worker safety, and fast assembly.
Bagnell Dam
RUNDFLEX was used to form the round walls of the digester tanks and 42' tall stacked MULTIPROP were used to support the slab formwork.
